The 100% cotton yarn is tightly twisted to create a slightly rough, double-rib knit. Shima Seiki, a manufacturer of knitting machines with an overwhelming share of the Japanese market, tried it out, but they were unable to achieve the same texture as 100 years ago. Finally, they resorted to their last resort: a rib knitting machine from Stoll, Germany, and finally succeeded in achieving the same solid vintage feel.

【design】
This is a knitted jacket made in Germany in the 1920s and 1930s that is sought after and highly prized by the Euro vintage clothing industry. It is basically double-breasted, with a striking design that buttons all the way to the top of the high neck. This jacket also appears in Auguste Sander's Farmer Portrait. 1930.
