The Beethoven on the chest is actually embroidered. This is a technique used by an embroidery factory in Kiryu, which recreates a photographic image that AUBERGE often uses, with the needle-like movement of a seismograph. I always like the slightly retro, artistic finish. We paid a product license fee for the image (lol). The reason we chose Beethoven is that, while many brands have attempted this motif and usually only print it, we took an approach that likens this motif to a famous jazz standard, and gives the feeling that this is how AUBERGE would play it. So it had to be based on a famous standard.
